We have a couple exciting opportunities for a **Patient Accounts Administrator** to join our supportive, dynamic and growing team at the **Patient Accounts Management North QLD Hub **based at** Ramsay Clinic Caloundra**.

**The Role**

The successful applicant will be part of a team that provides billing and collections support to several Ramsay Health Care private hospitals across North Queensland. **All Patient Accounts System’s training and support is provided**. Key accountabilities of the role include:

- Billing Accounts - Liaising with Health Funds and Customers
- Handling account queries
- Following up on unpaid accounts (debt collection)
- Maintaining the Aged Trial Balance to required KPIs
- Generation and submission of accounts to patients, health funds and third party payers
- Interpreting health fund contracts

Additionally, you should possess a strong customer focus and demonstrate the ability to communicate well with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation. To be successful in this role, you will also have the following criteria:

- Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes and meet KPI targets
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Intermediate Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel

**Desirable**:

- Accounts Receivable knowledge
- Experience in hospital mainframe systems
- Relevant health services experience
- Knowledge of Health fund contracts and accounting processes
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Certificate in Medical Terminology
