Petrol Station Attendant

Customer Service: Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering their inquiries, and providing assistance in fueling their vehicles. Attendants may also handle cash or credit card transactions and provide receipts.

Maintenance and Cleaning: Regularly inspecting and maintaining the fuel pumps, nozzles, hoses, and other equipment to ensure they are in proper working order. Keeping the station clean and organized, including the fueling areas, restrooms, and convenience store if applicable.

Stock Management: Monitoring fuel levels in storage tanks and requesting refills from suppliers as needed. Keeping track of inventory for items such as motor oil, windshield washer fluid, and other automotive products if available at the station.

Safety and Security: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, including following proper procedures for handling hazardous materials. Monitoring the premises for any security concerns and reporting suspicious activities to management or authorities if necessary.

Shift Management: Working in shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the petrol station operates smoothly and remains open for customers during designated hours. Attendants may need to collaborate with other team members or supervisors to coordinate shifts and breaks effectively.

Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of fuel sales, inventory, and transactions, using electronic systems or manual logs. Ensuring compliance with accounting and reporting procedures established by the station management or regulatory authorities.

**Salary**: $25.41 - $50.82 per hour
