**About the job**:

- Retail employee Casual pay rate level 1 + superannuation (depending on experience)
- 3-4 days per week
- Monday - Friday - roster based (trading hours 7am to 6pm)
- Saturday - 3.5 hour shift (8.30am - 12.00pm)

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, is a quick learner, can serve with a smile and takes pride in what they do.

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience of working in a Post office or with Lotto and if you don't but you are quick learner and committed to excellence, we will support you all the way through for the learning pathway.

This is a Part time / casual opportunity with up to 20 hours per week, including Saturdays where required.

**A day in the office could see you**:

- Performing customer sales and service transactions
- Maintaining a cash advance accurately - which includes handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS
- Promoting and processing a broad range of financial agency transactions through Australia Post's technology systems
- Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
- Accepting mail items for lodgement, and accurately assessing any applicable charges
- Selling Lottery and Newsagency products.
- Preparing outward mail for despatch through - including presentation and the cancelling of stamps

**What are we looking for?**

Besides being a friendly, considerate person with a real passion for great customer service, you’ll need to be able to:

- Lift up to 16kg of mail repeatedly
- Stand up for most of your shift
- Be flexible for additional hours, as well as changing shift times.
- Work as part of a team to deliver the best possible service and solutions to our customers.

We are looking for an ASAP start.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.00 - $32.06 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
