Doorways for Men

**About the opportunity**

This role is required to operate within a support service ‘shopfront’ and networking to provide information, referral, outreach, crisis and case management services and community development through proactive strengths-based casework, home visits and networking; that are driven by the needs and issues encountered by men with children & couples with children experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the Macarthur, Camden and Wollondilly regions.

This position is offered on a fixed term full-time contract for 12 months. You will work in the Tahmoor and Campbelltown area.

**About you**
- Relevant qualifications and at least 2 years demonstrated relevant work experience with men and their families
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues impacting on homeless men and couples with children
- Demonstrated experience in developing a support plan, provide casework support and follow up
- Ability to provide effective assessment and referral for a variety of issues and facilitate men and couples with children access to services that will meet their needs
- Ability to contribute to program development and evaluation
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
