As a Hardware Technician at MobileMart, your career is both dynamic and rewarding, offering individuals the opportunity to engage with technology on a daily basis.
You will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining hardware (computer systems and peripherals, Smart devices, smart phones, mobile phones, Tablets, Gaming hardware) ensuring that hardware operates efficiently and effectively.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Diagnose issues and implement solutions that enhance system performance.
2. Diagnose and repair various issues with smartphones, tablets, Laptops, desktop and other mobile devices.
3. Skills of technical expertise and problem-solving skills,
4. Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware components.
Install Hardware - Set up and configure computer systems and peripherals according to specifications.
5. Test Equipment - Conduct tests on hardware components to ensure they function correctly and meet performance standards.
6. Troubleshoot Issues - Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions in mobile phones, computers and other smart devices, providing effective solutions to restore functionality.
7. Repair Hardware - Perform repairs on faulty components, replacing parts as necessary to maintain system integrity.
8. Maintain Documentation - Keep accurate records of hardware installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for future reference.
9. Assist Users - Provide technical support to users, helping them understand and resolve hardware-related issues.
10. Responsible for supporting and maintaining computer systems and peripherals, which involves installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware.
11. Familiarity with various operating systems and hardware components.
12. Strong problem-solving skills and Knowledge of computer hardware components
13. Ability to read circuit diagrams and working of the devices.
14. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
15. Basic understanding of networking concepts
16. Responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware, ensuring that technology operates smoothly in various environments.
**What we're looking for**
- A minimum of 12 months of experience in mobile phone/tablet repairs, computers and desktop repairs or a related field.
- Assist customers in finding the right product for their requirement and upsell.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
