Gymnastics Coach

Looking for an active, energetic, fun, person to join our team.
Must be available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 2:30pm-6:45pm.

**Objectives of Position**
- To act as the face of the gymnastics coaching team
- To provide a relevant and responsive service with a strong focus on customer service

To ensure that the gymnastics program is run professionally and in line with the regulations as set by Gymnastics NSW.
- To assist the Gymnastics Coaches in the day-to-day running of the gymnastics department

Key Accountabilities

Technical/Operational
- To assist Head Coach in the coaching of a wide variety of gymnastics classes..
- Coach gymnastics classes to the level and in the gymsport that your coaching accreditation allows, and assist in the coaching of all other classes under the supervision of the Head Coach or Gymnastics Coaches.
- Assist in the development and progression of Gymnasts, under the direction from qualified coaches, or Head Coaches.
- Ensure a high level of customer services is provided within the team, and remain actively involved in each class ( prepare, warm up, lesson, stretch, and pack down).
- Assist in the development and implementation of gymnastics retention strategies. Eg. Recreational Fun Days, In House Competitions & other activities.
- Set up the session as required and pack away the gymnastics equipment as required or directed.
- Ensure gymnastics centre is maintained in a clean, safe and presentable manner
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
- Check equipment daily and record on equipment log
- Observe all policies relating to Work, Health & safety for all
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in a safe and operational condition. If they are not, report immediately to the Head Coach
- Ensure all patrons abide by the Centre’s Users Code of Conduct.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rose Bay, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
