About the role

We currently have a permanent part-time opportunity for a Disability Support Practitioner to work alongside our amazing team at our group home in Ashfield.

Please note you must be available to work all the shifts on the below rooster.

Week 1

Mon 6:00-9:30

Tue 6:00-10:00 15:00-21:00

Thu 15:30-21:00

Sat 16:00-22:00

Week 1

- $30.46 - $31.41ph (minimum) + Super + Penalty Rates

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

- Specialist training opportunities
- Buddy shifts with CPA’s experienced Disability Support Practitioners
- Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.
- _ We invest $5,000 in training in your first year_

Your duties will include:

- Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling
- Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
- Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
- Building positive relationships with our clients
- Transporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable

**Requirements**:

- NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or Full)
- Live locally to the locations mentioned above
- Triple COVID-19 vaccinated
