Our Opportunity

We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced HSE Advisor for our long term NBN Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in WA. This role is based in Belmont WA. In this role you'll be responsible for:

- Ensuring our Safety System is effectively implemented on site
- Conducting site audits and site inspections
- Plant inspections, inductions, risk assessments and reviewing SWMS
- Collecting, analysing and updating data for reported injuries, hazards, incidents and near misses
- Liaising with project personnel and subcontractors to discuss issues and or incidents and corrective actions
- Completing monthly reports and statistics
- Reviewing and implementing legislative and regulatory changes
- Leading relevant safety training across our mix of staff and subcontractors
- Assisting in the management of injuries to achieve the best outcomes

How you'll connect to the role:

- Formal qualifications in Health and Safety
- A safety professional with extensive industry experience, with a focus in civil construction, water or communication infrastructure
- Ability to manage multiplies sites, while focusing on stakeholder engagement
- Experience in high foot traffic and public access areas will be seen as highly regarded
- A leader who can inspire and actively promote our Living Safely culture
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS ISO 14001, AS/NZS ISO 9001 and AS/NZS 4801
