**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, prioritize, and report defects using defect tracking tools such as JIRA, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for resolution and improvement.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospective meetings as part of an Agile development team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers, sharing best practices, and promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest Pega technologies, tools, and best practices, and recommend enhancements to testing processes and methodologies.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience working as a Pega Tester
- Pega Certification(s) such as Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA), Certified Pega System Architect (CPSA), or Certified Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) preferred.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Pega Unit Testing, Pega AES (Automated Error Reporting System), and Pega PAL (Predictive Analytics Library).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven experience working in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, or TestNG is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
