Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions to students from primary to high school levels, with a focus on preparing them for selective exams, HSC, and other competitive assessments.
- Develop customised lesson plans that align with each student’s learning goals, abilities, and current academic challenges.
- Use various teaching strategies to simplify complex mathematical concepts and ensure understanding in areas such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
- Provide timely feedback and progress reports to students and parents, addressing any concerns and suggesting areas of improvement.
- Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and problem-solving strategies.
- Stay updated with the current NSW curriculum and exam requirements to ensure content relevance.
- Contribute to creating additional resources, such as practice tests and worksheets, to support students' ongoing learning.
- Maintain a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters academic growth and builds students' confidence in mathematics.
- Participate in team meetings and share best practices with fellow tutors.

**Requirements**:

- A strong passion for teaching and helping students succeed in Mathematics.
- Excellent knowledge of the NSW Maths curriculum, including experience with selective schools and HSC Maths courses.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly to students of varying abilities.
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching (highly regarded).
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
- Patience, motivation, and a positive attitude towards students’ learning progress.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Licence/Certification:
