**The opportunity**

The Security & Fire Protection Team in Boeing Defence Australia is dedicated to delivering the most trustworthy and efficient industrial security service in the protection of personnel, infrastructure and all confidential data foundational to Boeing and its clients.

We are presently seeking a talented Security Advisor to support multiple programs such as Wedgetail and MQ28A Ghost Bat for the security of people, information, property and operations based at **RAAF Base Amberley.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute internal security controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with Government and company regulations and requirements.
- Identify deficiencies, develop and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate results to security management and customers as required.
- Collaborate with Enterprise specialists, project managers and S&FP team members on the development and maintenance of Personnel Security, Information Security, Physical Security, and Governance.
- Conduct Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (including inventory, distribution and destruction), in compliance with Government regulations/requirements.
- Protect Government, Intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorised disclosure.
- Assist in the development, implantation and administration of an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with Government and company regulations/requirements on complex programs.
- Lead and perform Personnel Security to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for customer requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of a security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.
- Empower a culture of safety, security and compliance across the business.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- This position requires an Australian Security Clearance at the NV2 Level and applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements
- Familiarity with managing information and protective security operations & programs for the Australian Government, with a good working knowledge of PSPF, DSPF, ISM and AGSVA
- Highly organized, task oriented, self-starter that demonstrates a high degree of initiative and requires mínimal supervision.
- Ability to make and/or change plans, goals and actions in response to an evolving business environment with the awareness to operate as a focal for security across the business.
- Ability to be on call as required by business needs and to travel periodically as planned or unplanned within or outside assigned region.
