**Medical Ward Clerk**

**Permanent - 76hrs per fortnight**

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Administration Team in a permanent ward clerk position in one of our Medical Wards/Rapid Access Heart Centre.

**The Role**:
You must have a keen willingness to learn with strong organisational and time management skills as these are fast paced, multi-skilled areas, combined with an ability to work autonomously in a busy working environment.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Answer phones.
- Liaise with our Allied Health partners.
- Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of Genie software would be an advantage but not essential.
- Retrieve, file, track and return medical records as required in a timely manner.
- Assist Unit Nurse Manager and clinical staff with clerical support.
