**About the Role**:
The primary purpose of the Casual Professional Support Officer is to provide support and assistance to administrative, teaching staff and academics on the use of the VU Collaborate (the D2L Brightspace LMS) and all associated tools and systems.

**This is a Casual Position at HEP5 classification ($48.14 per hour) plus employer superannuation working up to 36.75 hours per week until December 2024.**

An example of the duties you may perform include:

- Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets and LiveChat, escalating issues as appropriate
- Provide technical support to administrative, teaching, and academic staff in the use of LMS (VU Collaborate) and associated tools and system
- Update guides, documentation, resources and the VU Collaborate websites for staff and students

**About You**:

- Aptitude or ability to work with relevant University systems and databases.
- Ability to work independently, seeking clarification and advice from the Professional Learning Coordinator or relevant University policy and procedures as needed.
