- **The Role**
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for analysing process control samples and providing analytical results to our processing plant to ensure efficient production.
- You will be responsible for:
- Analysing process control and shipment product samples
- Performing standardisations, calibrations to meet our laboratory maintenance schedule
- Operating complex analytical equipment, including XRF, Laser Particle Sizer, & Eltra
- Providing short term coverage for Product Quality Analyst, Metallurgical Technicians and night shift coverage as required
- Providing consumables reports as required by management

**About You**
This role would suit a driven and analytical thinker that is looking for a new role where no two days are the same. You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Analytical Chemistry (TAFE Certificate, Diploma or University Degree)
- Exposure to working in a similar environment and role
- Significant experience working within an analytical laboratory with experience in classical wet chemistry analytical techniques
- Previous experience with the following is advantageous: XRF, ICP-OES, Automated Thermometric Analysers, Eltra Carbon /Sulphur Analysers, Malvern Laser Particle Size Analyser and UV-Vis spectrometer
- Flexibility providing coverage within our department including Night
- Shifts when required
