- An exciting strategy role in Agri-business Asset Management for one of Australia's largest cropping producers (ASX listed), with 41 farms across 10 aggregations in four states.
- In this newly created role you will be responsible for managing and optimising the performance of assets; including buildings, large and small farm equipment and fleet. The role will ensure that all assets are maximising their value to the company. In this hands on role you will be working across the asset portfolio and partnering with our operations teams to make decisions across the asset lifecycle for replacement and risk profiling.
- At a high level the duties will include:
- Develop and implement asset management strategies; ensuring all assets are utilised effectively and efficiently to meet ROI objectives, including risk and loss minimisation.
- Managing the reporting to internal & external entities relating to asset use; benchmarking, lifecycle costing, asset reliability/survival/failure statistics..
- Develop and maintain an asset register to track location, value, depreciation, and utilise existing technology to support/expand maintenance history.
- Identify and implement opportunities for asset disposal, repurposing, or acquisition to optimise the company's asset portfolio.
- Reviewing asset management policies and make recommendations for potential adjustments.
- Researching relevant markets and technologies to identify trends and patterns.
- Procuring and implementing innovative technologies including processes to demonstrate continuos improvement through asset data collection and asset reliability/survival/failure statistics, with an objective to drive cost efficiencies and asset effectiveness and meet our ESG objectives.
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting of assets, including valuations, depreciation schedules, and impairment assessments.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies for asset management and performance.

About you
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
- You have at least 5 years experience in asset management, in Agri-business would be a distinct advantage
- You bring with you high level problem solving and the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders, customers, and other diverse audiences.
- You can demonstrate commitment to ESG outcomes ensuring our commitment through Asset Management strategies.
- Your written and verbal communications skills are outstanding and include demonstrated experience in the preparation of written business cases, analytical reports, and briefings for use at an Executive level.
