We're looking for an enthusiastic and gifted leader to lead the youth ministry in the next exciting season. As the Youth Pastor at Warnbro Community Church, you will have the privilege of shaping the lives of young people by by inspiring and equipping them to trust and follow Jesus.

This is an opportunity to join a team of passionate leaders who are dedicated to discipling youth and sharing the gospel. Located in Rockingham, WA, our church is passionate about reaching and raising-up disciples of Jesus.

With a thriving regular youth group of over 70 young people and a team of 25 leaders, you will have a strong foundation to build upon. Additionally, our multi-generational Sunday attendance provides a supportive and diverse congregation to engage with.

**The Story So Far**:
By God’s grace, Warnbro Community Church is a much-loved and well-attended evangelical church in the heart of the growing City of Rockingham, WA.

Sundays regularly see am attendance of 600 people at our services (and growing fast), with 1,300 men, women, and children participating in small groups, outreach, and community initiatives throughout the week. Warnbro is truly a community where both God's people and local residents gather to encounter the gospel and experience the blessing of gospel fruit.

Our Kids and Youth Ministry holds a place of strategic significance and importance. We have a thriving Youth Group, Kids Ministry, and kids' outreach initiatives. Our prayer is to strengthen and expand our efforts in reaching the youth of Rockingham who don't know Jesus, as well as discipling and nurturing the youth within our church community.

Rockingham is a fast-growing area, with the population expected to reach 240,000 by 2042. The city is home to a diverse mix of people, including FIFO workers, Defence Force staff, blue-collar workers, retirees, and commuters who travel to Perth for work.

Rockingham is one of the most beautiful places in Australia where you can be swimming with seals and dolphins one miniute, and then 35 minutes later be sat in Perth CBD.

Given the high gospel strategic significance of Rockingham and Warnbro, our hope and prayer are that as the city grows, our outreach and discipleship efforts among the youth in our community would also grow.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead our Friday Night Youth program, creating a fun and engaging environment for students to be discipled, mature, and equipped to live for Jesus.
- Recruit, train, disciple, and care for our team of Youth Leaders, ensuring their spiritual health and growth.
- Partner with and equip families, working alongside parents in discipling their kids through seminars, teaching materials, and engaging conversations.
- Develop teaching curriculum, source or produce teaching materials, and create devotional content for youth.
- Provide oversight to the Sunday Bible study for years 7 and 8, ensuring quality and cohesion.
- Lead various existing Youth Events and participate in church-wide events as part of the Ministry Team.
- Coordinate and manage marketing channels to support and promote ongoing Youth Ministry initiatives.
- Pioneer a missional strategy to reach the youth of Rockingham with the gospel of Jesus.
- Equip youth for personal evangelism and establish partnerships with local schools and chaplains.

**Time Allocation**:
**Key Skills, Gifting & Character**:

- Demonstrated experience in Youth ministry within an evangelical church (minimum 2 years).
- Proven track record of teaching children and youth effectively.
- Formal training from an evangelical theological college or an equivalent institution, or currently studying.
- Passion for embracing the vision to reach and disciple youth in the City of Rockingham.
- Deep commitment to team ministry, recognizing the significance and power of the body of Christ and the Bible.
- Effective and efficient communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
- A person of prayer who will intercede for the youth under their care and those who have yet to follow Christ.
- Adherence to the highest level of Safe Ministry and Safeguarding standards.

**Other Information**:
The Youth Pastor will actively participate in the life of the church and collaborate with the Executive Pastor, who oversees the Families Ministry, as well as the Senior Pastor. This position offers significant opportunities for growth and contribution within our Ministry Team. Applicants must hold a current Working with Children Check, complete a National Police History Check, and seek accreditation from Churches of Christ, Western Australia.
