- About the role
- We are seeking, values-driven Support Workers who will provide effective support to Participants ensuring a safe and structured environment is maintained in accordance with TSA guidelines, within a Participant lead recovery-based service.
- You will successfully
- In consultation with more senior worker/s appropriate preventative action is taken in relation to potential high-risk situations
- Facilitation of daily activities and programs, which may include social activities, Spirit Lifter, information groups
- Information is provided to assist in assessing and addressing participant issues, needs and circumstances
- Effective relationships are established with participants that encourage self-determination and participation and support them to improve their situation
- As directed, support is provided to participants to implement case plans in accordance with the TSA model of care and practice

This is a permanent, part-time (26.6hrs per week) position. You will have the ability to work on a 24/7 roster including afternoon and overnight shifts in a Residential Rehabilitation facility and/or a 24/7 Withdrawal Management unit based at Eagle Heights, Mt Tamborine.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Level 3 Award.
- You will have
- Relevant certificate to the work performed
- Previous experience in relevant industry, and/or on the job training or diploma level qualification
- A current and valid First Aid Certificate
- A current drivers licence
