A part time vacancy currently exists in our Dorevitch Collection team for a AS4308 certified Drug & Alcohol Collector based in Melbourne CBD.
Utilising your knowledge of Pathology Laboratory processes coupled with your excellent sales, negotiation and administrative skills, you will thrive in this busy and fast-paced role.
**Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to**:
Performing supervised drugs of abuse collections as per documented instructions
Accurately completing collection documentation for each collection
Maintaining chain of custody for each sample collected
Organising the transport of specimens to the Central Laboratory
Liaising and with external clients
Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample
**If you have the following skill set, we want to hear from you**:
The ability to work independently
The ability to follow documented procedures with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Previous experience performing drugs of abuse collections (desirable)
A Statement of Attainment for HLTPAT005 - Collection of Specimens for Drugs of Abuse
Excellent communication skills and punctuality
