Digital and UX Designer

Melbourne, Australia Education Perfect Full time

In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling, consistent and user friendly designs and experiences across various marketing platforms and collateral. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and use data and insights to develop creative concepts, digital user experiences and designs that meet the marketing and business strategy and goals.
- Design visually appealing and intuitive digital user interfaces positions EP as a digital first and innovative business. Align with brand guidelines and target audience expectations
- Optimise user interface for website, mobile and other digital touchpoints that are key marketing assets for EP
- Ensure consistent design elements and branding across all customer touchpoints.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and resolve any design related issues during development.
- Collaborate with marketing, and digital copywriter to design effective digital marketing campaigns
- Present design concepts and solutions to internal teams and clients, explaining design rationale
- Receive and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to iterate and refine designs as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining a digital asset library, organising and archiving design files for easy access.
- Utilise graphic design software and tools to create and edit designs with precision and attention to detail.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate project timelines and deliver designs within specified deadlines.
- Partner with external vendors and agencies
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices to continually improve design quality and innovation.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive knowledge and understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, layout techniques, and branding concepts.
- Experience in designing for marketing and communication campaigns across the full marketing mix.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Solid understanding of user centred design principles, information architecture, and interaction design to drive and optimise desired customer outcomes.
- Excellent visual and creative skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of current design trends and ability to adapt designs to different platforms and mediums.
- A positive attitude, openness to feedback, and a passion for creative excellence.
