**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

As a qualified Health and Safety Specialist this role will form part of the wider national H&S team providing corporate support to Kinetic ITs wider business. This role sees you joining a dedicated team of professionals whose priority is the safety and wellbeing of our crew. You’ll be doing more than just ticking boxes and filling out paperwork in this role and we even throw in some travel as and when required.
- Your role will sit at a national level and involve some of the following areas:_
- Design, development and continuous improvement of the Health & Safety Management System
- Engaging and collaborating with business stakeholders to fulfil their legal obligations and to ensure company compliance
- Researching, identifying and analysing legislative H&S requirements, emerging issues and best practice, assessing and identifying opportunities or impact to business systems and processes
- Managing the H&S compliance and auditing process, providing advice on effective corrective and preventative action for audit findings/gaps
- Providing advice on critical H&S frameworks or assurance programs, including Risk Management Framework, Safety Governance & Auditing
- Undertaking Quality Assurance and Critical Analysis of Kinetic ITs hazard and incident management system
- Providing advice to members of the H&S Team and wider business, regarding the conduct of health and safety investigations, recommend preventative actions, lessons learned.
- Design and deliver effective communication strategies that will engage and influence the business in driving a positive H&S culture
- Developing and delivering training related to changes to H&S legislation and practices impacting the organisation
- Experience in the development and maintenance of policy, procedures and guidelines related to the Health & Safety Management System

- Demonstrated experience as a H&S Specialist ideally within a corporate environment
- Experience with identifying opportunities to maintain and expand on existing H&S compliance within the business
- Track record of effective stakeholder engagement and presenting information at an Executive level
- Ability to influence and lead change; coupled with a resilient attitude to change in the workplace
- Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident presenter, with an ability to facilitate a range of H&S activities at all levels of an organisation
- Project Management experience would be highly beneficial
- Any experience in Training and Assessment would be highly beneficial
