**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business support Lead to join the City of Melton, one of the fastest growing municipalities in Australia to work with the Head Major Project Delivery to support the delivery of major capital projects, including the Cobblebank Community Services Hub and Plumpton Aquatic Centre.

This is a dynamic role where you will be part of a team who are delivering some really exciting projects. You will be highly organised, self-motivated, solutions oriented and enjoy working within a varied and fast paced environment and a dynamic team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertake all administrative tasks necessary for the successful program and project management of assigned large scale major projects.
- Assist with the preparation of documents including letters, memos, and service specifications agreements.
- Comply with Council’s policies and procedures as they relate to the project management of large scale projects.
- Maintain and develop project and contract records for reporting purposes and referencing within the team.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Post-secondary qualification in administration, project management or relevant experience with little relevant work experience, alternatively lesser formal qualifications with relevant work skills.
- Experience in project and administration support in the delivery of major capital projects in a local government or community services context.
- Communication skills to effectively build relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and be able to gain their co-operation with the ability to adapt communications to meet different needs.
- Experience in identifying and initiating opportunities to develop new processes and procedures to improve the management of projects and engagement of stakeholders.
- Current valid Victorian driver’s licence.
