**About the role**

As Program Manager, you will have the responsibility for facilitating student success and outcomes. Duties include course planning, course delivery, assessment, quality of teaching and learning, students’ learning outcomes and course evaluation.

In consultation with the Online Campus Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of online courses for UP Education nationally. The role ensures all courses run smoothly and efficiently, are appropriately staffed, have accurate documentation and resources and reflect current industry best practice. It also ensures that the experience of all participants and stakeholders is of a consistently high standard and that staff are well supported.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Operational: staffing, recruitment, induction; Trainer & Assessor Verification, ensuring currency; Professional development programs
- Ensuring Academic outcomes
- Academic Quality Assurance of delivery
- Program enhancement/ Continuous Improvement
- Industry engagement
- Undertake regular industry consultation and feed back into course content, course delivery, continuous improvement

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110 including Units of Competency TAEASS502 and TAELLN411) or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development.
- Qualifications and experience in the field industries offered within the Portfolio can be advantageous to the role however relevant experience in VET operations management is mandatory.
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs assessment.
- Knowledge of AQF 2013 and other relevant Accreditation Schemes.
- A valid working with children’s check card (or ability to obtain upon or prior to commencement)
- Previous experience using Learning Management Systems.
- Understanding of how to engage students at scale in an online learning environment.
- Superior student and customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of online learning and assessment resources.
- Experience working with current VET policy and developments and innovative approaches to vocational education and training.
- Experience in creating efficiency and maintaining quality in the delivery of Asynchronous online learning.

Desirable:

- Formal Management/Administration Qualifications; or
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience successfully managing teams and individuals using contemporary approaches.
