As part of our continuing growth and recent international expansion O’Connors currently have a rare opportunity available to join an industry leading agricultural machinery dealership group in an Executive position of Group Wholegoods Retail Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for the long-term wholegoods retail strategic direction, focus and strategy across the dealership group.

You will be responsible for leading O’Connors comprehensive sales strategy to maximise revenue and margins for all franchises and through effective planning, provide expert business direction aimed to maintain current market share and seek growth opportunities.

You will lead and develop the Sales Managers to support them with financial outcomes and KPI’s.

You will be innovative in strategic direction in your approach, anticipating future industry trends and be aware of developing emerging opportunities.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, knowledgeable, and passionate about the agricultural industry and its farming practices.

We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and changing environment.

To be considered for this role you will need to have a background in Agricultural Equipment Sales and demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Strong agricultural sales and marketing knowledge and ability.
- Experience in business leadership
- Strong people management skills to both retain and identify, attract, motivate and engage talent.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing financial and non-financial risks.
- Computer literacy, sales aptitude and understanding of financial principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Prior experience in agricultural machinery sales is essential.

There will be an expectation to travel across the dealership network.

This opportunity is a full-time ongoing position and can be based in multiple locations throughout Victoria, NSW or SA.
