**About the role**

The Support Analyst role is located in the Analytics and Insights team which collects, analyses and reports workforce data, deriving transformative insights on the NSW Public Sector workforce. The work program of the team includes quantitative and qualitative research and analysis used actively in policy and publications key to public sector workforce management decision making. This is an exciting time to be joining the team as we engage in a major transformation of our data capture, architecture and analytics.

A**bout the Public Service Commission**

The NSW Public Service Commission (PSC) is headed by an independent Public Service Commissioner and is a separate agency under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 (GSE Act) that supports the Commissioner in exercising her functions and powers.

The PSC leads the design, development and implementation of the full range of workforce management strategies - including workforce capability, recruitment and assessment, performance management, and strategic workforce planning - to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the NSW public sector workforce.

**Talent Pool**
The purpose of this recruitment is to fill an ongoing Analyst role within the Analytics and Insights team and to create an Analyst talent pool. A talent pool is used to fill future ongoing and temporary vacancies as they arise and remains valid for 18 months.
