**The Role**:
Maxima, and our Host Employer, are looking for a committed individual to undertake an entry-level Fabrication Apprenticeship.
This 4-year fulltime role will see you working in a workshop, within Metro Adelaide, assisting to program all machinery, troubleshooting where faults arise.
You will develop relevant skills and knowledge within the industry through working hands-on, and support this with study on-the-job towards a nationally recognised
**Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade**.
**Benefits**:

**Duties Include**:
- Examine drawings to calculate material requirements
- Fix and assemble metal fixtures
- Cut, roll, shape and bend materials
- Heat and treat metal materials
- Finish products through cleaning, polishing or filing methods
- Use of specialised equipment and tools
- General warehouse and labouring duties
**About You**:
- Passion about the engineering industry
- Love working hands-on
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hardworking and committed to work and learn
- An eye for detail
- Love learning new systems and procedures
**Role Requirements**:
- Hold a current driver’s licence with reliable vehicle
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Previous experience or pre-vocational certificate (desirable)
