Kiama High School is a large comprehensive school with 788 students, including 38 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students. Approval to teach Auslan and a demonstrated capacity to implement evidence-based teaching strategies to improve student learning outcomes.
Proven ability to implement effective classroom management systems to promote student engagement and meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
Willingness to actively assist in extra-curricular activities and cultural events in consultation with the school community.
Proven highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to work collegially as a part of a team to develop quality teaching programs and assessment.
