ACCOUNTS CLERK
- This is a full-time role for a highly motivated Person with Accounting Qualifications for a Construction Company. You will be responsible for all accounts and will need to be adaptable to a variety of systems and processes that are used within the business._
- To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication and time management skills, be accurate and fastidious in your work, together with knowledge of MYOB and experience in a similar role._
- The successful applicant must have a positive and friendly disposition, who is outgoing and will thrive in a busy environment. You will be working as a key member of our team, and as such you will need to be flexible and able to handle changing requirements and timelines at short notice._
- Key responsibilities_
- _Knowledge & experience using MYOB_
- _Record day to day financial transactions_
- _Accounts Payable and Receivable duties_
- _Data entry, account reconciliations, end of month reporting_
- _Creditors and Debtors reconciliations_
- Bank Reconciliations
- Inventory Control
- _Prepare and assist with BAS/IAS lodgement_
- _Petty Cash_
- _Weekly credit card reconciliations_
- _General administration duties_
- Processing weekly payroll
- _Manage all Payroll responsibilities including Superannuation, Payroll Tax and WorkCover across all business entities_
- _Assist Financial Controller & Senior Manager of Accounts with end of financial year reporting and lodgementsExperience_
- _Degree qualified with a discipline in Accounting
- Essential_
- _Experience in accounts administration or similar role_
- _Intermediate skill level in accounting program MYOB (desirable)_
- _Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles_
- _Attention to detail_
- _Extensive knowledge of excel and MS Office programs_
- _Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic_
- _An organised approach and ability to follow systems and procedures_
- _Proven track record of reliability_

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
