**About the Opportunity**

This is a Senior Management position in the Clinical Services team. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, this role will provide clinical leadership and workforce management, along with operational support to the clinical and non-clinical teams to direct excellent patient outcomes. Two important services operate at our Caloundra site, our Mental Health Service - _Ramsay Clinic Caloundra_ and our Day Surgery Service - _Caloundra Private Day Hospital_. 2023 will see the growth of both services including the completion of a new 3 Theatre Day Surgery.

This role will involve, but is not limited to:

- Supporting growth, business development and responding to the business needs identified by the Executive team and Ramsay Health Care (Mental Health and Day Surgery)
- Always striving for clinical excellence across the organisation
- Overseeing care delivery and coordinating the activities of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring optimal patient outcomes are achieved, with the available resources while complying with requirements
- Involvement in and maintaining hospital and departmental budgets ensuring budgetary requirements are met in consultation with other executive team members
- Measuring workplace culture and implementing actions that support the findings to ensure a positive workplace culture is maintained
- Managing Human Resources to ensure future workforce requirements are known and strategies are identified and implemented

Key to this position will be responsibility for both hospital Quality Management requirements as well as intake/bed management for the Mental Health Service.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience.
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working at a management level
- Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a team providing strong strategic direction and positive leadership
- Undertake reporting and policy development and review
- Experience in quality and risk management frameworks and clinical governance principles
- Ability to manage complex, challenging and demanding daily operational issues
- Be flexible, adapt to change quickly and have the ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment

Ramsay Clinic Caloundra provides comprehensive mental health care services to the Sunshine Coast community. We offer acute inpatient services, neurostimulation services and day programs for adults who require support for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorder and post-traumatic stress - including veteran-specific day programs.

Our multidisciplinary team work together to individualise our evidence-based treatment plans to meet the patients’ needs and maximise their recovery.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation

- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
