Are you passionate about music education and teaching? We are seeking an experienced Cello Teacher to commence in 2025 at the Strathfield campus. You will have the opportunity to work with students across different skill levels and guide them in their musical journey. This role is 2 days per week, Monday and Wednesday, commencing Term 1, 2025.
**What's involved...**
- Deliver engaging individual and group student music lessons.
- Prepare and present material for the instruction of the practical aspects of the instrument.
- Prepare and manage students undertaking public music examinations.
- Organise and conduct rehearsals, sectionals and performances of the School’s performing groups.
- Liaise with parents and provide feedback about their child's progress.
**We are looking for...**
- Strong experience as a Cello Teacher, ideally within a school context.
- Undergraduate degree and/or professional Music qualifications.
- Patience, creativity and an ability to engage and motivate students, fostering their love for music.
- A covering letter and copy of your current Resume, including 2 professional references.
- Compliance requirements needed prior to employment include: NSW-Working with Children number, valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009), COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a COVID-19 vaccine medical contraindication exemption and Office of the Children’s Guardian Child Safe eLearning Certificate.
