**The Opportunity**:
Kent are looking for a **Quality Surveillance Lead **to ensure our project meets top quality standards. You'll develop strategies, coordinate inspections, and work with engineering to ensure everything meets client requirements. If you're detail-oriented and quality-driven, join us
As a **Quality Surveillance Lead**, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all project quality activities are thoroughly managed, aligning with client requirements and our company’s Integrated Management System (IMS). You'll develop and implement the Project Quality Surveillance and Inspection Strategy, collaborating closely with engineering to establish critical equipment ratings and determine the appropriate surveillance levels. In this role, you’ll coordinate both in-house and third-party inspection resources, preparing and managing the necessary forms and documents for inspection personnel.
Your leadership will guide the team with clear instructions to ensure consistent and effective quality inspections. Additionally, you’ll establish and manage interfaces with clients and third parties, ensuring their participation in the process. You’ll also be responsible for reviewing and approving supplier inspection and test plans to ensure they meet project requirements, playing a crucial role in upholding quality standards and exceeding client expectations.
**Your knowledge/ skills, education, and experience**:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent
- CSWIP 3.1 - Welding Inspector Qualification
- Previous experience in QC Mechanical Inspection/Supervision
- General Construction Induction - CPCCWHS1001 Card or equivalent
- Experience in oil and gas or similar process-driven industries is advantageous
- Fully conversant with applicable industry and Australian standards/specifications
- Working Safely at Heights certification (advantageous)
- Confined Space Entry certification is (advantageous)
