- Part time (3 days per week), 1-Year contract with provision to extend further

**About the Role**

Working within a small team the person in this position will work closely with the laboratory head to recruit and manage data collection. The nature of the work is deadline and target-driven, as well as requiring a focus on accuracy and detail.

**Key Duties**

In this role you will be expected to:

- Organize and co-ordinate ongoing research study appointments including completion of case report forms and standard operation procedures.
- Carry out all relevant study-related tasks.
- Liaise with Melbourne pathology and prepare results letters for participants.
- Order consumables for studies and arrange other personnel/resources.
- Enter and clean research data into a designated computerised database.
- Perform administrative functions concerned with own area of research.

**Skills and Experience**

You will have:

- Relevant Undergraduate degree, Graduate Diploma or equivalent research experience.
- Experience in previous clinical research studies and study recruitment.
- A self-motivated attitude, able to exercise initiative.
- Caring attitude towards study participants.
- Organisational and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience in sample handling/processing, and epidemiology studies is preferred but not essential.
