**About the role**

***
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of Austral Bricks products in the most efficient manner to satisfy the needs of our clients.**Duties include but are not limited to**

***
- Ensure truck scheduling is completed daily in a timely manner while complying with all heavy vehicle requirements;
- Direct investigations to resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner;
- Provide accurate and timely transport reports;
- Operate JDE to ensure all paperwork and delivery information is accurate;
- Supervise operational performance of the Despatch Supervisor and drivers to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organisational requirements;
- Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations;
- Analyse expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, and budgets to increase profits and improve services;
- Manage all Chain of Responsibility requirements; and
- Check product leaving yard is of a suitable quality and ensure timely delivery of product to customers.

**Success Requirements**

***
- Minimum Cert 3 or Cert 4 in related field preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding or formal training in aspects of ‘Chain of Responsibility’.
- Previous experience in a transport supervision role with proven leadership skills.
- Transport experience with an understanding of heavy vehicles.
- High level of communication skills and strong conflict resolution skills.
- High level of organisational skills.
- Flexible and enthusiastic with a high level of self-confidence.
- Current High-Risk Workers Licence preferred.
