**Role Description**

**The successful applicant will**:

- Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
- Nurture a faith community within a Catholic context.
- Currently holds a Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
- Possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.
- Deliver learning that is developmentally appropriate and promotes STEM learning in a contemporary context.
- Works collaboratively with staff to build a culture of fairness, empowerment, and excellence. Develops leadership capabilities and a willingness to contribute to professional learning. Understands the content of the STEM curriculum and create innovative learning approaches that engage students, enhancing and enabling each child to learn.
- Develop positive, meaningful, and committed relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.
- Use purposeful assessment that provides data to drive and plan further teaching.
- Work effectively with other professionals, parents/guardians, and members of the broader community to provide effective learning for students.
- Demonstrate an ability to develop and maintain professional and respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
