Opportunity for an Occupational Hygienist, based in Hobart, to work for a large organisation

Hays are working with a nationwide organisation in their search for an Occupational Hygienist to manage their Hobart site on a permanent, full-time basis.

**Your new role**

Based in Hobart, and reporting into the Health & Safety Manager, you’ll be able to provide a key support function to line management and employees in health and hygiene issues which will assist in the prevention of accidents, incidents and events that harm people, property or the environment.

This role also responsible and accountable for keeping up to date with legislative changes And industry trends, ensuring compliance with the organisations standards, sampling and sampling plans and also includes analysing results.

The right person for this role is also a collaborative worker and team player who will take on board concerns and ways of working from leaders, managers and workers to be able to appropriately develop best practices for the site. For this exact point, you will also be a great communicator.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will hold a certification in Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Hygiene or similar and also have proven experience within your work history. As well as being a collaborative worker, you will also have the ability to work independently. You need to hold a strong work ethic but also be personable to be able to work with stakeholders.
