About the Role:
As an analyst, you will provide operational and analytical support to the CIM Domestic Asset Backed Securitisation (ABS) team in managing, investing, and monitoring CIM’s ABS portfolio. The role will involve interaction with the broader fixed income team and various stakeholders with a view to addressing clients ongoing needs, both regular and ad hoc. The role is most suited to a quantitative-minded individual who enjoys being challenged on a daily basis.

Diverse and Engaging Responsibilities:
Whilst no two days will be the same here’s an idea of what you can expect:

- Research on new investment opportunities within securitisation markets
- Assist Portfolio Managers in preparing market and portfolio updates
- Develop analytics to improve portfolio construction and portfolio monitoring
- Assist Portfolio Managers in originating, analysing and executing new investment opportunities in both public and private structured finance markets.
- Preparing and updating presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Experience You’ll Need:

- Understanding of financial markets and fixed income products - essential
- Sense of accountability and ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Database management skills - Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, Excel, VBA preferred
- Strong quantitative skills - Ability to understand complex quantitative concepts.
- Tertiary qualification with strong GPA in undergraduate or masters from academic backgrounds such as commerce, finance, actuarial, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, engineering, or related fields.

Fidante Partners is an investment management company that partners with specialist asset management firms to deliver compelling opportunities to an international investor base and provides distribution and administrative support to quality fund management teams.
