**A role with unique responsibilities**
Embryologists play a crucial role in a patient’s journey. You will participate in training to ultimately be responsible for providing high quality embryology and andrology services. With exceptional service and care, you will directly enhance the patient experience. Under guidance from the Laboratory Supervisor and senior Scientists, you will learn and be responsible for:
- Providing excellent service and care to Monash IVF patients and clients
- Performing Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedures including ICSI
- Consistently meeting productivity, performance and compliance expectations
- Collaborating with others to achieve the Monash IVF Group Mission
Understanding there are ups and down in reproductive health, the Trainee Embryologist will be sensitive to the needs of patients and will endeavour to maintain a critical eye to detail and focus on patient outcomes.
Ideally you will bring the following:
- A degree in Biological/Health Science
- Masters of Clinical Embryology (desired)
- Basic Knowledge of ART legislation and clinical protocols (desired)
- Knowledge of RTAC Code of Practice and all Industry compliance requirements
- An orientation to focus on patient outcomes
- A critical eye for detail
- Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Superior organisation and time management skills with proven ability to multitask
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
