Our client is a multinational total quality assurance provider and delivering quality Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification services. They are currently seeking for a Laboratory Supervisor (Fire Assay) to join their energetic team in Adelaide Laboratory.

**About the role**
- Exciting opportunity in Minerals Division for a Fire Assay Supervisor in Adelaide.
- Hands-on supervision role focusing on overseeing sample assay according to client-requested protocols.
- Perform technical duties similar to a Fire Assayer, including weighing and firing samples.
- Ensure the team meets shift productivity targets.
- Ideal for an established Fire Assay Supervisor or an experienced Fire Assayer seeking career advancement into a supervisory role within a laboratory.

**Job duties**
- Complete the Supervisor checklist for each shift.
- Accurately and efficiently complete the production log for all assigned work.
- Update the production spreadsheet with priorities and processing stage details.
- Task allocation, staff supervision, and monitoring of attendance.
- Monitor staff performance and uphold quality expectations.
- Enforce compliance with all policies and procedures, covering workplace health and safety, HR, IT, quality, and production.
- Verify achievement of shift production quotas.
- Problem-solve and troubleshoot in both routine and non-routine situations.
- Assist in maintaining a quality system for NATA accreditation.
- Support and train team members to achieve expected outcomes.

**Skills and Experience**
- Highly desirable to have knowledge of MinLIMS.
- Possesses sound knowledge of Fire Assay systems.
- Demonstrates proficiency in data entry procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective organization and time management abilities.
- Brings prior industry experience to the role.
