**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to partner with a 67 year old female participant based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Our participant recently sustained a spinal cord injury which has resulted in the loss of lower limb & upper limb movement. She is expected to be discharged around Christmas and will be requiring 24/7 care supports.

Hours include:

- Morning shifts - (7:00am - 3:00pm) and (7:00am - 9:00am)
- Afternoon shift - (3:00pm - 10:00pm)
- Inactive Overnight shift - (8:00pm - 7:00am).

**Pay Rates**:

- Day - $38.75 per hour
- Afternoon - $42.63 per hour
- Inactive Overnight - $186.80 - $239.50 per shift
- Saturday - $54.25 per hour
- Sunday - $69.75 per hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with bowel therapy (administering enema and digital stimulation)
- Hoisting (full hoist/sling hoist)
- Administering medication
- Completing skin checks
- Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation
- Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
- Community access + rehab appointments

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card
- Current NDIS Screening Card or Yellow Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
