BRIEF DESCRIPTION, GENERAL TO ROLE

**We are seeking a passionate teacher to be a part of our collaborative team.**

The successful applicant will have a vibrant, growing relationship with God and be a committed member of their local church, attending weekly. They will be able to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative and unified manner, and have excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills with staff, students and parents. They will be teachable and committed to the vision, Christian ethos and strategic direction of the College. **Master of Special Education is highly desirable,** however Special Education training, knowledge and expertise is a requirement.

DETAILS SPECIFIC TO THIS POSITION

**The Cedar Learning Inclusion Centre Coordinator will support the welfare of CLIC staff and students, while maintaining a spirit of collaboration and fostering the development of Christian principles within the Primary School.**

**The CLIC Coordinator will inspire, challenge and support students with diverse learning needs while instilling a love of learning**. They will engage in critical reflection and inquiry to improve knowledge and skills, and effectively engage students and improve their learning. They will have a good working knowledge of the National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD).

**The Cedar Learning Inclusion Centre supports the college’s pedagogy for teaching and learning in Reception through to Year 6.** The CLIC staff work with teachers to differentiate teaching practice and implement programs to help meet individual students’ needs. CLIC staff collaborate with teachers and families to write Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to support students with diverse learning needs and encourage their continued growth and academic development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

**The CLIC Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and effective running of the Cedar Learning Inclusion Centre (CLIC).**

They will work collaboratively with the Primary School Directors, CLIC staff and teachers to support students with social, emotional and diverse learning needs from Reception to Year 6, in addition to providing strategic direction in the areas of effective early intervention, staff professional learning, program implementation and maximising individual student learning.

**Reporting/Working Relationships**:The Primary School Cedar Learning Inclusion Centre (CLIC) Coordinator will work under the leadership of the Head of Primary School, and is accountable to the Principal.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

**Qualifications and Checks**:

- Approved teacher education qualification, registered as a teacher in South Australia.
- Special Education training and experience
- Master of Special Education (highly desirable)
- Working With Children Check
- Current RRHAN-EC certificate
- Protective Practices online course completion
- Adhere to the College’s COVID-19 policy
