- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Collection of pathology samples:
- Blood collection:

- Respiratory/swab collection
- Blood collection (evacuated or non-evacuated) and/or
- Skin or capillary blood collection and/or
- Urine collection:

- urine collection (sterile/unsterile/and/or supervision of patient specimen collection) and/or
- timed urine collection and/or
- Other
- Other routine pathology specimen collection and/or
- Swab collection - wound, nasal, MRSA, vaginal & male urethral and/or
- ECG, holter monitor & blood pressure monitor collection and/or
- Performance of respiratory function tests & urea breath tests
- Other duties including the performance of procedures in accordance with practice instructions; the care storage and processing of such pathology specimens; the accurate recording of information relating to patients/clients and specimens in accordance with practice instructions; operate VDU's attending to the well being of patients; liaising with referrers/referees; receive payments of accounts

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Show a high level of empathy, communication, and customer service
- Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- A willingness and confidence to work independently in a solo clinic
- Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B and COVID-19 are a requirement of this role
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection would be advantageous
