**About the role**

WesTrac are seeking a trade qualified Boilermaker to join our Machine Shop at Tomago Working alongside skilled tradespeople, this role will see you utilising your skills to complete reclamation and salvaging jobs for a range of CAT machines.

As our in-house Boilermaker, you will have a keen eye for detail and strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

**The important stuffroster & remuneration**

Monday-Friday (48-hour week + rotating days/nights)
- Roster Pattern: 5D2O x2 5N2O x2
- Monday to Thursday 10.5 hour shifts, Friday 8.5 hour shifts
- Day Shifts Monday - Thursday: 06:00AM to 16:30PM
- Day Shifts Friday: 06:00AM to 14:30PM
- Night Shifts Monday - Thursday: 16:00PM to 02:30AM
- Night Shifts Friday: 14:00PM to 22:30PM
- 0.5% product support allowance, 15% shift allowance + 7.5% location allowance
- Hourly rates starting from $48.18+
- Overtime rate* starting from $72.27+
- overtime is paid once an employee works over 50 hours

**What are we looking for?**
- Trade qualified Boilermaker/Welder
- ID Welding experience
- Sub Arc Welding experience
- Alloy Tig Welding experience
- Cast Iron Welding experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Strong safety orientation and able to produce quality work
- Extensive experience in mobile plant repairs (desirable)
- Extensive experience in OXY/Thermal processes: cutting, heating, thermal Lancing
- Able to read, interpret and manufacture from engineering drawings Engineered released drawings
