The Hub (Xero’s in-house creative agency) is looking for a brand new
**mid-level copywriter** to help us shape the brand on both a local and global level.
You’ll be one of a crew of thinkers, writers, art directors, motion graphic designers, producers and digital specialists who come together to make ideas happen. From small campaigns that talk about the beauty behind our product to global initiatives designed to help small businesses run their day-to-day in a better way, you can pretty much guarantee that your days will be varied. We’re talking about a myriad of meaningful and impactful projects all designed to help small businesses and their partners do more of what they love and less of what they don’t.
You’ll be expected to think conceptually, deliver projects on time, and be a sleuth when it comes to executing on brand, and on tone (while keeping the spelling in check too).
**What the role requires**:
- Strong ideation skills and the ability to craft outcomes to a high standard for multiple channels (print, OOH, radio, scripts, video and online).
- Building collaborative working relationships with producers, art directors, designers, and internal clients.
- The ability to craft and present integrated campaign narratives.
- Being proactive in bringing ideas to the table that are above and beyond the current asks.
- Excellent written language skills and the ability to ensure writing standards are upheld by the wider team.
**What your experience may look like**:
- 3+ yearsʼ agency experience.
- Excellent writing and conceptual skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to work within an existing brand platform, and the smarts to know when to push beyond.
- Experience across the entire creative process from briefing and concept creation through to execution.
