**About the role**

The Orthotics and Prosthetics Assistant works under general direction and contributes to CALHN’s Orthotics and Prosthetics service provision by working in partnership with other healthcare professionals, clinical service delivery to patients, technical fabrication and maintenance of client orthotic and prosthetic devices, including the appropriate fitting, function and appearance of the device, assisting with an oversighting training other Allied Health Assistants and students.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
