**The Service**

KU Berowra Preschool is a lovely 40 place community-based preschool with a dedicated and passionate team who care for children from 3 to 5 years of age. The service is located on a quiet residential street that has ample free parking close by. There is a bus stop outside the service which has a variety of buses pass by that come from Berowra station, Hornsby, Mount Colah and Ku-ring-gai.

The service is set next to a large oval which has a wonderful playground which the the team and children enjoy excursion to, as well as visiting local primary schools. The service is an inclusive environment and enjoy building and maintaining community relationships. Inside the service, they have 2 rooms that can combine into 1 large room and outside, they have a wonderful yard with a slide, trampoline and climbing equipment.

**The Role**

**This opportunity is a permanent part time role which will see you join the team on Thursdays and Fridays 4 hours each day. There will be opportunity to pick up more hours when interested. **The team at Berowra are longstanding and look forward to the prospect of someone new joining their team.

**Of course, you will need**:

- An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
- Current Working with Children Check
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
