Dog Groomer

We are a boutique dog grooming salon & daycare service on the hunt for a professional and passionate **Dog Groomer** to work in our new salon located in beautiful Burleigh Heads. We are focused on providing our clients with top quality pampering to be the bark of the town

**Responsibilities include**
- Perform breed-specific care including nail trims, baths, brushing, hair trims, ear cleaning and other procedures with precision and care
- Manage and understand dog behaviour and temperament throughout appointments
- Maintain work areas to comply with workplace health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature towards clients and their owners

**Required Qualifications and Desired Skills**
- **Must have** Certificate III in Animal Grooming/ Care services
- **Must have **a strong understanding of breed requirements including breed-specific cuts and hygiene practices
- Preferably 3yrs experience or more working as a groomer within a professional environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously with initiative
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail

**Salary**: From $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
