**Who will you be working with?**

This highly specialised insurer is seeking an **Underwriter** to join their Sydney team and share in their success. **What will you be doing?**
- Evaluate new and renewal business to determine risk acceptability, terms / conditions to be quoted, and make recommendation on pricing
- Develop and undertake internal quality assurance to ensure legislative and regulatory obligations for underwriting new business are being adhered to
- Develop and deliver training new team members and other business units as required
- Assist with the management of high-risk Members/insureds
- Develop underwriting activity reports for management

**What do you need?**
- 3-5 years of underwriting experience required
- Professional Indemnity underwriting experience is desired but not essential
- Experience in policy drafting/product development desirable
- Proactive mindset, positive attitude, and ability to work well in a team
