Western Leisure Services Pty Ltd (WLS) manages three leisure facilities in Wyndham City - AquaPulse, Eagle Stadium and the Werribee Outdoor Pool.

We are seeking new Lifeguards to join our team. Qualified and or experienced applicants are preferred, however, we encourage those who are willing to obtain the necessary qualifications in the very near future, to also apply. We will provide excellent induction and training to the job requirements.

Reporting to the Aquatic Operations Coordinator, our Lifeguards are responsible for supervising the aquatic environment and ensuring that patrons remain safe at all times.
- Supervise pools in accordance with the deployment plan at AquaPulse and Werribee Outdoor Pool
- Operate and supervise the 2 giant water slides and aqua play area at AquaPulse
- Respond efficiently to any incidents (medical or customer related)
- Reporting of incidents and hazards
- Ensure high levels of cleanliness and tidiness in and around each pool
- Assist in pool set up / pack up requirements

**Skills and Experience**
It is preferred to hold the following skills, experience and qualifications, with a willingness to obtain if not already qualified:

- Confidence to enforce appropriate behaviour standards of guests
- Communicate in a friendly and professional manner
- SISSS00129 Pool Lifeguard qualification
- HLTAID001 Provide First Aid Certificate
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Capable of completing a rescue and recovery to a depth of 2.1m (a test on this will be provided prior to employment)
- Clearance from a Working with Children Check - Employee and National Police Check (Fit 2 Work)
