**About the role**

This position involves assessment and management of clients admitted to the Inpatient Palliative Care Unit at Calvary, Kogarah. It is responsible for supporting the day-to-day monitoring & management of patients admitted to the unit under the supervision of a Palliative Medicine Specialist. This position will also require participation on the after-hours/on-call Calvary Hospital medical officer roster, including weekend ward rounds.

**About you**
- Unconditional Registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written, with demonstrated computer skills
- Proven ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Experience in Palliative Medicine
- Working towards the FRACP or FAChPM (RACP), or its equivalent; consideration of suitable applicants with other relevant experience will be made
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
