**Department**
Alfred Health Radiation Oncology (AHRO), a unit of Alfred Cancer, provides a full range of general radiation oncology and radiation therapy services in addition to some specialized services with both state and national significance. AHRO has sites located at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne (Alfred Radiation Oncology - ARO) and at Latrobe Regional Hospital, Traralgon (Gippsland Radiation Oncology - GRO). This position is primarily located at GRO, Latrobe Regional Hospital, Traralgon.

**Position Summary**

The position is part time (3-4 days per week) for a period of 16 weeks long service leave cover commencing in July and involves the continued development and maintenance of databases for all patients attending the department. The primary purpose of the position is to provide data management support to the Radiation Oncology departments of the Alfred Hospital. This will involve the continued development and maintenance of databases for all patients attending the department for purposes of cancer registrations, clinical research, hospital administration and planning, annual audit and quality assessment.

**Skills**
- High level of competence in computer systems
- Strong organisation and workload management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be able to work independently
- Previous hospital/medical research experience would be highly regarded
- Previous oncology experience would be an advantage
