**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cyber Security Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Cyber Security Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our organisation's efforts to maintain a secure and resilient environment. Your expertise in cyber security operations, risk management, and strategic planning will be instrumental in safeguarding our information assets and infrastructure.

Reporting to the Head of Technology, and working closely with the broader IT and leadership teams, your accountabilities will include:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with policies, processes, standards, and security protocols to maintain a robust cyber security posture.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, assess potential impact, and prioritize remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and controls, fostering a secure environment.
- Monitor and report on the organization's risk profile to senior management, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Establish and enforce cyber security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard information assets and infrastructure.
- Promote a culture of cyber security awareness throughout the organization, conducting training programs and awareness campaigns.
- Coordinate internal and external audits to validate security controls and processes, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and vendors to enhance overall security posture.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, trends, and technologies, ensuring the effectiveness of the security program.

**Experience, Skills & Qualifications**

To achieve success in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:

- Have extensive experience (7+ years) in cyber security management, including leading security programs in complex organizations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging cyber threats, trends, and technologies, and the ability to influence across a Leadership team while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Proven customer focus, interpersonal, and communication skills to ensure consistent messages are communicated to internal customers/stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
